An adventure in Umbria, converting a dilapidated barn on the site of a
beautiful old Umbrian farmhouse. Our client wanted an extraordinary
entertainment space which embraced the breathtaking Umbrian hillside
location. The space needed to feel completely at home in its setting
yet with its own unique character. We achieved this using fantastic
local materials and craftsman. We incorporated hand-painted local
tiles, hunted down the best marble sinks. We used charming old taps,
extra weathered timbers. We made a bespoke open shelved larder based
on a vintage rack, and the biggest marble kitchen island table you
could imagine, or lift in! Magical place.
