A modern beauty, this is Caravan’s latest restaurant in a stunning new pavilion right outside the Saatchi Gallery. The circular building meant only one thing, a circular design. The design all arcs out from the central bar, appearing as though carved out of one material, Mortex. The bar, the booths, the tables, the chairs all curving around each other. We utilised the incredible Mortex plaster, giving it a subtle earthy hue and subtly different textures to complement the modernist white architecture and to wrap the building with warmth.
